A harder material, brass, is reflective and challenging to scan; however, a light dusting of flower improved its scanning by reducing reflection and allowing deeper crevices to be captured. No post-production has been completed yet on this 3D scan. It's an item inherited from the deceased grandfather and scanned using the MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner.
