• What does its name mean? \nIts name means Reptile with Arms.\n• When and who discovered it?\nElmer S. Riggs was the discoverer of this dinosaur genus and found it in 1900, on the Colorado River Grand Canyon, in the United States. However, it wasn't until 1903 that he gave it a name.\n• What size did it have and how was it?\nIt had a long neck, a small head, and a relatively short tail. It measured up to 28 meters high and weighed approximately 50 tons. It was the only dinosaur with longer front legs than back legs.\n• How long has it lived?\nIt lived 152 to 145 million years ago, in the Upper Jurassic Period, in what is now North America.\n• What did it eat? \nThe herbivore was adapted to feed on high tree leaves. It is estimated that it ingested about 200 to 400 kilograms of food per day. It had two types of savannas with rare trees similar to an Araucaria.
