Brake Wreath replacement - Baby Buggy Bergsteiger Venedig
thingiverse
I've reimagined the original Brakewreath design of a baby buggy, giving it a fresh new name: "Bergsteiger Venedig". The outdated replacement part was prone to frequent breakage, so I revised the design with increased durability and reduced arms. This is the 7th iteration of my redesign, addressing an early model flaw where the small gripping arms were easily breaking off. The current version boasts robust gripping arms that can withstand heavy use. A key consideration in this redesign is the clearance between the spoke grippers, which must be installed with a soft-head hammer to avoid damaging the surrounding area. If you encounter any issues with a tight fitting, please let me know and I'll adjust the clearance accordingly. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask! I've included my Print Settings below: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 85% Note that I would personally opt for a higher infill percentage, as this design demands exceptional sturdiness. Although one brake wreath may break off, the redundancy of having an additional one provides peace of mind and ensures continued functionality.
