Brake Safe Monitor Adapter for Sahara 2017 LC200. This adapter fits into the space used by the card holder and needs an RM6000 "Brake Safe" (Monitor) to complete installation. The Brake Safe monitor is used to check battery condition when towing a trailer with electric brakes. After printing the attached adapter... Step 1: Remove the top case from RM6000. Step 2: Take out the lower dash from the driver's side and remove switch panel & card holder assembly. Step 3: Slide the RM6000 lower half (with circuit board) into the adapter from the front. Step 4: Use 2 M3 x 25mm screws & nylocs to hold the assembly together. Step 5: Insert the Brake Safe front panel (blue label) into the provided slot. Step 6: Put the assembled adapter into the switch panel (from behind) with 2 screws. Note: Some trimming / filing may be necessary for a snug fit. Step 7: Re-install the switch panel, dash & test.
