Brake light switch depresser (SIP dog-leg levers for Vespa)
thingiverse
After installing SIP's dog-leg-style levers on my wife's Vespa, we realized the brake light switch wouldn't get depressed without some kind of extension. This piece gets epoxied in the underside of the level. The flat surface on the inside depresses the normally-open switch brake light switch. The stock levers simply had a bolt threaded into the lever, to depress the switch. Because of the mesh design of these levers, there wasn't enough material to make decent threads. Instead I used that space to our advantage by using it to locate and constrain this part. I'm fairly certain these are the same levers we used: https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/product/sport-lever-sip_63130000?q=sport%20lever
