Brake Gear for Clicgear Golf Cart ver 3

This is version 3 and hopefully the final iteration of my Clicgear brake gear. Version 1 was designed closely after the original from Clicgear, but it proved too weak for its intended purpose when 3D printed. I beefed up the cogs in version 2, resulting in improved performance, yet still prone to breaking easily. After rigorous testing and modifications over two golf seasons, version 3 has held up remarkably well. In addition to the reinforced cogs, I also standardized the part that interfaces with the wheel to match the exact size and shape of the holes it fits into, providing a snug friction fit and added durability against wear and tear from forgetfulness. Furthermore, I eliminated the small pins that consistently broke off during assembly and the central groove in the hub that seemed unnecessary on my cart. A photograph documenting what remained of my factory gear after its demise is included, serving as the catalyst for designing an improved version.
