Brake Disc

Brake Disc

thingiverse

A highly detailed 3D model of a car brake disc has been created, based on reference models and 2D drawings. To print, use a 40% infill with support material and raft. The model's parts have been scaled for replicator build platform compatibility. An update on August 27th announced the availability of parts for purchase on Shapeways: Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3. To assemble, place the center disc inside the main larger disc, followed by positioning the caliper over the disc. Further improvements are planned. If you'd like a personalized text on the caliper, feel free to contact Ryan King at ryan@gromfrog.com. The name of the part above the brake disc is believed to be a caliper.
