Contains gauges ranging from 2 to 10mm in 1 mm increments, providing accurate measurements every time. Design: Gauges are engineered with precise dimensions: 150mm long, 15mm wide, and 1mm thick. Specifically designed for standard 0.4mm nozzles and a .20mm layer height, ensuring optimal performance. The 2mm gauge is technically the most challenging to print due to its dependence on five lines of 0.4mm extrusion width. Number markings are a mere 0.4mm (2 layers) deep for clear visibility. A keychain hole measuring 5mm provides convenient attachment options. Printing: Gauge accuracy relies entirely on the precision of your printer. If you can print accurate calibration cubes, you'll achieve an accurate set of gauges. The most anticipated printing issue is the first layer elephant foot; a minor trimming or sanding should resolve this problem if it occurs. A full set will fit comfortably on a regular 220x220mm bed, allowing common printers like the Ender 3 or similar models to print a complete set in one go. Individual gauges are also included for smaller beds or single reprints. Extra: The number markings are a mere 0.4mm (2 layers) deep for enhanced contrast and easy reading. A silver sharpie is used to provide clear visibility. For printed inserts, you can easily model them using Fusion 360. The numbers are in bold Tahoma font at 15mm height and 0.4mm thickness. You may need to shrink the inserts slightly to ensure a secure fit.
