Brain Anatomy Puzzle

thingiverse

My husband is a science teacher who was searching for a printable object on Thingiverse to use as an educational tool to explain brain areas to his students. This puzzle of the brain is based on the one created by THISISJMAN9 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1092748) that we designed but found to be too tightly fitting. After discovering a suitable resource image at https://www.iowaclinic.com/webres/File/anatomy-brain.pdf, I built a new model using Fusion 360. The model is similar to THISISJMAN9's but has been modeled to fit together more easily and is larger in size. Printed at 100% the print measures approximately 15cms (6 inches) across. The print shown was created with Eryone PLA printed on an Ender 3 Pro at 210 degrees hot end temperature and 65 degrees bed temperature. This was sliced with CURA 4.5 at 0.2mm with a 10% zigzag infill. The model covers the following brain sections (files are separate for printing in different colors): - Cerebellum - Frontal Lobe - Motor Strip - Occipital Lobe - Parietal Lobe - Sensory Strip - Temporal Lobe I appreciate your time.
