Braille stamper
thingiverse
This braille stamp is meant to allow an individual to raise braille characters onto a sheet of paper. It is intended for those who do not know which letters translate into the necessary cells in braille and for ease to create the characters to be read in braille on paper. Just put the paper in the braille stamp and print yourself a sentence in braille! Feel free to comment. Instructions This Braille stamp currently needs to be scaled down from centimeters to millimeters (needs to be scaled down to a factor of .1). Inspired by a staple-less stapler and later a manual labelmaker as well, the intent of this was to have a single piece to use when printing on paper. Due to the variation in 3D printer sizes, I have decided to use slides so that each printer can fit this in parts. You simply place your sheet to be printed on the base above the small window, this is where the braille should appear. Place the slide in the slot in the base and line it up with the indents at the bottom of the upper block intended to stamp down on the base. Then press the upper block down on the paper to stamp.
