Braille Slate - One Line - FDM printable

This is a design tweak of our other one-line Braille slate. The new version can be printed without too much trouble on an FDM printer, unlike the previous one which works better with SLA printing. To print this design successfully, use a small nozzle or force your .4 nozzle to print at .3 in your slicer. Print with only one shell and 100% infill, and you may need to slow down your normal print speed. Braille dots are a set scale/distance apart, so don't try to size this up. For the stylus, I recommend using a dental tool with a blunt tip instead of the super sharp one. You can also use toothpicks, but their tips will dull after punching through paper multiple times, so you might need several. Yes, it does poke through the paper, but if you smooth it lightly on the other side after use, it's quite readable for a blind person. Remember that you're writing in reverse, so a blind person can read it forwards. Start punching from the right and work your way left, using our guide to ensure you're punching the letters in reverse. Here's a video showing its use: I'm sorry I'm slow! It's sped up after the first line. Check out the video at https://youtu.be/MFoCGYG1zso.
