I designed a 10x10 grid system on a base that consists of a cut-to-size piece of cork board glued in place. Once the cork board is secure, a tactile graph can be placed on top, allowing individuals with visual impairments to plot points using total touch sensitivity, including clearly marked "X" and "Y" sections in Braille. **Print Settings** **Printer Brand:** LulzBot **Printer Model:** TAZ 5 **Rafts:** No **Supports:** No **Notes:** Sometimes the holes can become stuck. A small amount of clearance may be needed to remove them, but this is usually minimal. **Standards** * NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) * CCSS (Common Core State Standards) **Lesson Plan and Activity** This activity focuses on graphing quadrants using a tactile approach. **Materials Needed** A sheet of cork board, cut to size and glued to the base. Small sewing pins can be used as plot points.
