Braille!

Braille!

thingiverse

The MakerBot has shown promising results with braille printing, though I, as a non-braille reader, can't vouch for its readability. The key lies in perfecting the G-code to avoid defects on the front face. This project has piqued my interest; next up is designing and 3D printing a braille bracelet. For optimal resolution, I printed the braille in a vertical orientation, but it might be worth experimenting with a flat layout as well. The design was sourced from http://www.softpedia.com/get/Others/Font-Utils/Braille-3D.shtml.
