Polymaker's OpenSCAD code is revised, as seen in http://kitwallace.posterous.com/printing-braille-label-via-openscad. The main enhancement involves auto-sizing the label width. However, I encountered printing issues on a Makerbot where dots were indistinct and fused together due to threaded connections. A possible solution is utilizing software that generates G-code for multiple layers of a single dot, rather than one layer per dot. So far, I haven't tried this approach.
