We transformed an ordinary clip into a valuable tool to aid individuals with impaired vision in organizing fresh food produce. The reusable peg, crafted from PLA, features Braille embossing along the edge with the names of days of the week, providing a tactile cue to help identify the use-by date of food products. The design is constructed as a single piece, with two spaced wedged prongs creating a secure gripping action. When squeezed together, the prongs naturally return to their initial resting state, holding onto the packaging firmly. To ensure correct sizing, individuals can reference the edge length of a standard clip as a scale for accessibility.
