OpenSCAD File for Creating Braille Text Type your selected text to render braille dots on a backing plate or with long rods for insertion into your 3D models. All contractions and dot combinations are supported; however, knowledge of the braille code is required. Instructions for Use: 1. Open the file in OpenSCAD. 2. Set the plate thickness at the top of the document. 3. Enter the text at the bottom of the document. 4. Render (F6) to check your work. 5. Export as STL. 6. Print or use as a tag/plate, then add it to another model. For optimal results, always print braille on one side. Avoid resizing, as braille must conform to standard dimensions.
