Braille Beads - Nametag
pinshape
A playful braille set, perfect for making fun accessories like nametags and jewelry. The blocks have braille on one side and Latin characters on the other, with four holes for attaching them in different ways. If you attach them side by side, both the braille and Latin text will be correct, making them ideal for creating inclusive nametags that anyone can read. However, this doesn't work if you attach them lengthwise. The set includes blocks for the alphabet, numbers, dash, dot, and space, as well as a special "big volume" block to help create unique designs (check out the picture with feathers). To do this: Open the STL file of your chosen character in 3D Builder or a similar program. Insert the "big volume" block and ensure it's centered on the braille block. Combine them using "Merge" or a similar function, resulting in a single block. Shape the design to enclose the braille, with edges at least partially surrounding it. Use the "Intersect" feature on all elements to achieve the desired shape, retaining both holes and braille. Also included are loops and end pieces for added versatility. These blocks can be printed using an FDM printer (0.1 mm layer height) or a SLA/DLP printer for a smoother finish. Note: Be cautious when printing these small blocks, as they may pose a choking hazard to children. Enlarge them before printing if necessary and use strong strings to prevent breakage.
