The Bradbury Building, a historical gem in downtown Los Angeles, California, was constructed in 1893 by gold-mining millionaire Lewis L. Bradbury and draftsman George Wyman from Sumner Hunt's design. This architectural landmark is known for its appearance in various works of fiction, movies, TV shows, and music videos. In 1971, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and in 1977, it became a National Historic Landmark, one of only four office buildings in Los Angeles with this honor. It's also recognized as the oldest landmarked building in the city by the Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Commission. Despite its unremarkable brown brick exterior, the interior is a stunning display of Italian Renaissance Revival style architecture. The Bradbury Building has gained significant prominence as a setting in films, television shows, and literature, particularly in the science fiction genre. It served as the location for the climactic rooftop scene in Blade Runner (1982) and was featured as J.F. Sebastian's apartment in the film. As for its product features, the model boasts approximately 190,418 polygons made with 3 and 4-point polygons. It comes with a detailed interior and exterior, suitable for city scenes or interior shots. The model includes logically named materials like Brick, Glass, and Wood, making it easy to recolor the structure. An mtl file is included for colorization purposes, but textures are not. Users can apply their own shaders such as metal and fabric for a more realistic look.
