Table leg extensions/retainers for repurposed table casing. Guidelines available at: http://www.instructables.com/id/3d-Printer-Casing-from-Repurposed-Furniture/?ALLSTEPS CAUTION: Before relocating a printer to a heated enclosure, ensure that all parts under stress are heat tolerant. When initially housing my Makerfarm i3v in an enclosure, the integrated extruder buckled due to PLA materials used. Ensure possession of ABS components! Quick video footage of the casing:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyo_cYV6BXk Update : Nearly one year has elapsed since I began utilizing this casing. The printer is now more like a piece of furniture than a compact device. It operates flawlessly. Prints are mainly made in ABS, yielding little to no issues with warping or delamination. Heat sinks have been installed on the steppers and the electronics have been moved outside the enclosure. Temperature inside reaches approximately 55C.
