Brackets for Alpha Brass PRR E-3B

These brackets were designed to fit an Alpha Brass PRR E-3B, allowing for installation of a Decoder Buddy (21-pin DCC motherboard), 30x25mm speaker, and keep-alive, without requiring modification of the model itself. If you happen to be the owner of an Alpha Brass PRR E-3B who wants to convert it to DCC operation, then congratulations! You'll just need to follow these simple steps: * Print the parts (obviously) * Drill and tap the holes on the decoder bracket to accept 2-56 screws * Affix the brackets to the frame using foam tape, as shown in the picture. (The keep-alive fits under the rear of the speaker housing.) The brackets are designed to sit at the correct height only with the inclusion of the foam tape. If you don't happen to own this one very specific loco, but do own something with a similar drive system, I hope that you may be able to adapt these parts to fit your project.
