Brackets for 4 color mod
thingiverse
I've been implementing a 4-color upgrade from https://www.3dchameleon.com/, necessitating the creation of custom holders for the multiple spools. This endeavor is taking place on a ROSTOCK v2 3D printer courtesy of SeeMeCNC. The 4-color modification utilizes several switches that are triggered by G-code to facilitate switching between the four extruders. A two-color kit is also available, so it's essential to devise a method for activating these switches during the printing process. I encountered some challenges with my delta configuration, but after crafting a few custom brackets, I successfully enabled the toggling of the extruder switches. Now that the hardware setup is in place, the next step involves actually printing objects with multiple colors. This promises to be an exciting experience.
