In its third revision, the bracket jet engine bracket has an updated Max von Mises stress of less than 130 ksi and weighs 347 grams (approximately 17% of the original weight). The design resembles the previous version but with slight modifications. A 3D model is due next week, and meshing has been completed using a 0.03-inch grid. However, recent developments include reducing the weight to 330 grams and increasing Max von Mises stress to 126 ksi. Unfortunately, an oversight led to exceeding design limits, necessitating a complete redesign that currently weighs 360 grams.
