I required one for securing a backpack, positioned at the edge of a desk with a 1.25-inch thick surface. I didn't need the wire clamping mechanism. This particular design is quite snug, as I failed to recall that an underlying leg bracket was holding the top in place. A simple edit using Sketchup allowed me to remove sections and make it fit on my printer.
