My brother-in-law brought me a broken component to see if it could be accurately replicated using a 3D printer. He owns a 2006 Porsche Cayenne, which he's very proud of. I wasn't entirely sure the print would work, but he assured me it fit perfectly after some careful detailing with precision files. Upon inspection, I noticed that the printed part was about 1mm shorter than its original counterpart, yet it still functioned flawlessly. Based on my observations, I believe this component would be a good match for the right rail of the driver's side. I typically have to scale up all my drawings by 10 when they're fed into my slicer. This might be due to the fact that I create them in millimeters and my slicers prefer centimeters.
