This is a custom bracket designed to securely attach a vise to a Skil drill press platform. To achieve this, I used 1/2 inch x 1 1/2 inch bolts and nuts that fit perfectly into the half-inch diameter holes. The dimensions of the bracket are tailored to provide a 3/8 inch high lip for the vise and a 1/4 inch depth, ensuring a snug fit with my setup. After printing four brackets using PLA at 100% fill density, I found them to be sturdy and well-suited for my needs. By employing this custom bracket, I can now utilize an end mill on my drill press with greater precision, eliminating the need and expense of converting to a CNC machine.
