Bracket for mounting webcam to Mendel90 X-Motor
thingiverse
A Microsoft LifeCam VX-800 can be mounted on the x-motor of a Mendel90 3D printer, enabling the webcam to move with the extruder unit along the z-axis. Note that it is mounted upside down and the image needs rotation. The OpenSCAD sources are included for remixing purposes, particularly around the motor. This object prints without support in a single piece. I printed it on a Mendel90 using PLA with 0.3 mm layer height, adjusting minimum layer time to 30 seconds for accurate overhang printing.
