I edited: Version 2 added. After installing this bracket, my chain was consistently hitting the back wall of my machine before it reached its home position. To address this issue, I carefully removed 6mm from the horizontal surface, which brought the chain forward a little more and corrected the problem. The new design works perfectly. I created a remix of the original mounting bracket for DAcreates' K40 cable chain. When using the standard one provided, it would twist due to resistance from the chain, causing the mounting screw to loosen over time. Eventually, this allowed the chain itself to enter the path of the laser beam and melted 4 links on my machine. To prevent this issue, I designed a new bracket that utilizes both front mounting screws for added stability. Additionally, I shrunk the holes slightly to help prevent the screws from backing out.
