This mounting bracket attaches directly to the armrest post found on Storm3 models of electric wheelchair. To accommodate the unique shape of this armrest post, I had to design and print a custom mount point. The bracket itself accepts a standard 19mm diameter tube, commonly referred to as "towel rail" size tube, which can be easily sourced from home goods or DIY stores. This type of tube has numerous accessories available, including corner joints, end stops, clips, making it an ideal choice for various projects. I personally used this bracket to create a cup holder and an Android tablet holder, both of which turned out to be very useful. Internally, the Wheelchair bracket features a hex nut holder designed for M4 bolts, allowing you to securely fasten your chosen mount item in place. An optional thumbscrew knob is also available for added stability. Print Settings: Printer: K8200 Rafts: Not necessary Supports: Not required Resolution: A print resolution of 0.3 should be sufficient. Infill: Use an infill percentage of 25%. Notes: For this project, I used a flexible nylon material to ensure that the printed bracket can clip securely onto the armrest post without cracking or breaking.
