Bracket for Honeywell 4' LED Linkable Shop Lamps
thingiverse
I purchased four of these 4500 lumen Honeywell LED Lamps on sale at Sam's for approximately $25 last weekend. Normally priced at $35, they're quite impressive. However, they come equipped with chains that I didn't want to use. I employed these brackets to achieve a sleek appearance by sitting them flush against the ceiling. To secure the lamps, screw two of these brackets about 3.5 feet apart using at least two 2"+ wood screws. To ensure proper alignment, run them along a stud and then attach one screw in each bracket. Next, press a lamp partially into the brackets to get them straight, and finally add a second screw to each. These lamps aren't excessively heavy, but I highly recommend mounting them to a stud for added stability. If you can't find a stud, use drywall anchors and exercise caution when attaching or detaching the lamps. In terms of color, white would likely be the most visually appealing option, but the brackets are relatively inconspicuous from the ground. Since I didn't have any white ABS available, I opted for another color instead.
