Bracket for fastening Tronxy X5sa LCD upside down outside frame
thingiverse
When I enclosed my Tronxy (running Marlin at the time), the LCD was no use as it sat inside the frame, at an angle. The solution was this wedge-shaped bracket, to mount the screen inverted (there is a setting in Marlin to flip the screen image; I'm sorry I cannot remember the setting right now). The touch controls are not flipped, but with a bit of skill you can reach the menu to calibrate the touch display - as soon as you do this calibration, it works fine. Even so, it would make sense to practice this before you flip the screen orientation. The bracket has a slot that will accept the M4 T-nuts originally used - they may be a little tight to install but doable. You will need two more M4x12mm or 10mm bolts and two T-nuts to attach the bracket to the frame, and a ball-end Allen key to get them in. A piece of black insulation tape covers up the upside-down Tronxy logo :) Thanks for reading and have fun modding your Tronxy!
