Bracket for Drafting Table
pinshape
Here is a summary of my DIY project. I created a bracket to hold an adjustable desk top positioner on my drafting table. Not only does it look great, but it also keeps the rod from hitting the edge of my table. Unfortunately, I misplaced the brass screws before painting the brackets to match them. To get around this problem, I had to hold the bracket in place while taking a photo. Instructions: You will find both files are measured in inches and you may need to enlarge them by 25.4 to ensure accurate printing. First, secure the bracket to your drafting table using bolts. Next, attach the positioner to the bracket and table with more bolts. Once everything is in place, you can start enjoying the benefits of this setup. If you don't have access to the necessary hardware, feel free to simply appreciate the photo. Who knows? You may be able to adapt this design for other purposes as well.
