thingiverse
Attach a 36mm Omniwheel (thing #705, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:705) within this 3D printable bracket, designed for single-piece printing. The bracket provides two alternatives: Bracket-Solid features a solid base for bolting or using Velcro, while Bracket-Cutout has a cut-out base that saves plastic and allows gluing. Mount the Omniwheel to any surface with this versatile bracket. For installation, select and download a desired bracket file. Open it in ReplicatorG and generate G-code using your preferred profile. Print the bracket and mark your 3mm metal rod according to its inside width. Cut the rod to fit within the bracket walls, which will act as the Omniwheel's axle. Test-fit the axle, ensuring it's securely held by the bracket. Trim any burrs on the axle holders and remove the wheel bushings for a proper fit in the bracket. Finally, slide the axle into the wheel, then snap the assembly into the bracket for mounting onto any surface.
