sketchfab
Scheduled prehistoric carved boulder found in Bracken Heads area of Langleydale Common, just east-southeast of Eggleston, County Durham. This is believed to be one of carvings discovered by Paul Brown in 1996, and it's part of a cluster of small panels nestled together within a cairnfield. NADRAP added record 'Brackenheads 6' to ERA in 2008, describing: Three well-defined and carved cups, close together on large expanse of available panel. Cups not deep, measuring 0.02-0.03 meters. The three in-line cups are almost a common theme at Brackenheads. Panel is permanently covered by turf and marked by stone.
