A comprehensive assortment of custom brackets is required to precisely adjust NEMA 17 stepper motors, boasting a robust design that accommodates motors ranging from 2 to 15 mm in thickness. To fine-tune the Y-axis motor on the Sunhokey kit, it's essential to install these precision-made brackets, as the motor may not align perfectly with the pulley. Fortunately, swapping out the motor's position allows for flawless geometric movements, whereas modifying the pulley's placement would be a more complicated process. Note that an additional bolt has been strategically installed near the motor in one of the photos, serving as a safeguard against motor instability during intense operations.
