Bracelet Bending Block

Bracelet Bending Block

This is a bracelet bending block to bend flat strips of metal into cuff-style bracelets. The larger circles are for a wider, bend in the middle and the smaller circles are to introduce the bends on the ends to wrap around the wrist. I made this block the same dimensions as a few you can find on Amazon. Obviously it's quite large. For the project I just did the band was only ½" wide so I made a much smaller one to save on printing time. If you're doing a small bracelet as opposed to a wide cuff you might want to make all items a bit shorter to avoid printing the whole thing. You can find videos of this process on YouTube. Print Settings Printer Brand: Monoprice Printer: Maker Select Plus Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: Gradual Grid Filament: Monoprice PLA White Notes: Filament type probably isn't important as it only needs to withstand loads from the walls, which are designed purposefully thick. Post-Printing ============= Sanding/Smoothing It might be necessary to sand or otherwise smooth the surface of the dies. Softer metals might pick up an imprint of the layer lines if they're pronounced. Category: Hand Tools
