To get a better understanding of which pin might suit your needs best and how I recommend using them, please visit the blog post: https://fixingforstrangers.com/2018/06/29/broken-brabantia-bins/\r\n\r\nThere are two types of pin fixes here, one for situations where the entire striking pin has broken off and the other version is for bins with a stump remaining. \r\n\r\nAs these were developed for bins I found abandoned on the street, the options are not comprehensive but hopefully the information provided will help you determine if they will work for you. \r\n\r\nPlease share your experience and any amendments so others can benefit from them. \r\n\r\nThanks to you, James\r\n\r\nFILE INFO:\r\n\r\nBrabantia Bin Size G Clip-On Striking Pin For 3mm Rim.stl - This part can be glued to the rim of your bin if the pin has snapped off completely. If the stump on your bin is too big to fit under the replacement pin, you can simply file it down to size with a nail-file. \r\n\r\nBrabantia Bin Size H Clip-On Striking Pin For 4.3mm Rim.stl - This part needs some amendments but it still works; it will clip onto the rim of your bin if a stump remains from the original striking pin. If the stump on your bin is too big to fit under the replacement pin, you can simply file it down to size with a nail-file.
