A washing machine has torn my wife's bra shoulder strap, ripping both the delicate ring and "eight" that held it in place. The solution was clear: we needed an infant feeding bra, one designed to withstand heavy loads and complex patterns of stitching. To avoid further damage, we opted for open designs that wouldn't rip or saw through the strap loops. Each stitch had to be precise, with high load tension to prevent further breakage. When assembling the new strap, it was crucial to position "eight" in a way that would lock the cut wedge into place in the middle bar, securing the ring firmly. A bit of force might be required to keep the open ring locked onto the strap after assembly.
