BR-7 Multi-Stage Rocket
thingiverse
This is my seventh series of model rockets powered by Estes motors. Other than its 35mm diameter, it's a complete redesign of the BR-5. It doesn't require any parts to be glued together; instead, it uses screw adapters to screw them together, allowing for easy disassembly and reloading of the rockets. I provide both the original Rhino 3D modeler file and the .3mf file I use to generate .gcode. I also include the .gcode for my Creality Ender 3 Printer and the .stl file for Thingiverse because it doesn't like other file formats. With the .3mf files, I set different printer settings for sub-components in each part. I don't recommend printing each part at the same setting and infill, as this will likely result in the rocket being too heavy. I designed it to carry up to three SQ-11 cameras, which are cube-shaped and approximately 24mm wide. These cameras cost between $10 and $15 (January '20) off the internet and turn out to be reasonably tough.
