On the BQE 5afx frame, these mounts provide sufficient clearance to accommodate both 4mm and 6mm thick arms, positioning the antenna ends in a highly protected area. The example photo showcases 6mm thick arms. These mounts are specifically designed for proximity and short to mid-range freestyle applications, placing the antenna in a well-shielded position. However, they may not be suitable for long-distance flights due to their close proximity to carbon fiber components. If you plan on flying over extended distances, consider using a diversity antenna set and mounting your antennas at a safe distance from the frame and electronics to minimize signal interference.
