Human: I'm modifying my BQ Prusa I3 Hephestos to incorporate Auto Bed Leveling. Check out these videos showcasing the modification in action! Start: http://tinyurl.com/otbwco2 Ending: http://tinyurl.com/qzhvrfw Testing Arm: http://tinyurl.com/lrdk7qk Connections: http://tinyurl.com/qcmdhko **Required Materials:** A micro servo digital or analog (90º or 180º) and one micro switch of your choice. I used the SS-5 MICRO SWITCH, along with cable extensions for the servo and micro switch. Don't forget to print these parts in ABS! You'll need to disconnect the Z-end stop and connect this micro switch. Additionally, replace the table springs with some 1Cm printed spacers. Watch as the Auto Bed Leveling works correctly: start at http://tinyurl.com/otbwco2 and ending at http://tinyurl.com/qzhvrfw; testing arm available at http://tinyurl.com/lrdk7qk, and connections details can be found at http://tinyurl.com/qcmdhko. On the video, notice how the table has a difference of more than 5mm on one side. I confirmed that the Auto Bed Leveling was functioning as expected with this modification – I printed one of those spacers as a test print. Enjoy your improved printer!
