The upgraded version of the scanner features a T-slot frame with LED lights and RF Remote Controller, which allows for perfect scans by lighting up the object. Assembling is identical to the original bq, but instead of using long screws, I used T-slot extrusion and modified parts to fit it, along with modifying the back cover to use magnets rather than slots to secure it in place. The camera lens should be positioned 30-30.5 cm from the center of the table in a horizontal line for optimal results; however, sometimes the focus needs to be adjusted manually, and there is likely a YouTube video that demonstrates this process. STL files are available for both ABS and PLA materials. The Ciclop 3D scanner is an entirely open-source project.
