"Boy with horse" Head
myminifactory
This model is inspired by the sculpture "Boy with Horse," which can be found in Zielona Gora's vineyard in Poland. Created by Josef Thorak, who rose to prominence as one of two official sculptors for the Third Reich, it was originally crafted for a 1936 Berlin Olympic Games exhibition. The artwork depicts a boy riding on the back of a konik, a semi-wild horse breed native to Poland that descends from the European wild horse, an ancient species now extinct.
