myminifactory
Designed by Charles Henry Mabey and meticulously carved by Robert Jackson in 1863, this remarkable Grade II sculpture is a stunning marble figure of a boy standing proudly on a sturdy plinth. Initially crafted as a drinking fountain, the water flowed effortlessly from the mouths of four skillfully sculpted fish into beautiful shell-shaped basins. The Boy Statue can be found prominently situated opposite Queen Anne's Gate on Birdcage Walk. This exceptional object is part of "Scan The World", a groundbreaking non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory that aims to create a comprehensive digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from around the globe for public access at no cost.
