The Finnish grayness inspired the creation of the Boxx workstation, emphasizing its outer casing design while also considering internal aspects like wiring and practicality. The Hiili product envisions a futuristic workstation, not just a hidden table element but a delightful decor piece. Made primarily from plastic with a metal plate center for easy card installation, the design maintains a solid appearance by concealing wires within an inner cavity. A hidden back hatch allows for wire installation while showcasing only USB wires. The on/off button is strategically positioned on top of the computer. Designing this concept was enjoyable and hopes it sparks fresh ideas in Boxx as well.
