Zero Image, based in Hong Kong, crafts exquisite hardwood pinhole cameras that have captured the hearts of thousands of photographers worldwide. Their iconic 6x6 pinhole camera, the "2000," is their best-selling model, offering a range of customization options and sleek designs that age beautifully with time. Each camera boasts sturdy brass construction, carefully crafted in the Hong Kong area to ensure exceptional quality. While Zero Image's cameras are undoubtedly impressive, they do come with one notable drawback: a single winding knob. This oversight has led me to wonder why photographers would want only one knob. After all, having two knobs offers several practical advantages: 1. Prevents over-winding film 2. Simplifies film swaps 3. Ensures complete rewinding for camera unloading 4. Helps prevent frame blending in 6x6 cameras 5. Accommodates 6x6 film advancement from either side 6. Allows for adjustments to film tension 7. Confirms proper film advancement 8. Minimizes knob drag and potential film rolls Until Zero Image decides to offer a second winding knob as an option, I have created an alternate camera cap featuring two knobs and winders that can be used in both directions. This innovative solution is now available for purchase in my Etsy Shop. **Important Note:** As Zero Image's pinhole camera parts are manufactured with precise tolerances, there may be slight variations in the assembled cameras. I have carefully duplicated these tolerances in my design, but you might still encounter a snug fit in one corner. If this becomes an issue, please contact me for guidance. This custom cap is designed to work seamlessly with winders and knobs sold in my Etsy shoppe. However, I plan to offer FDM options for knobs and winders as well, so stay tuned for exciting updates!
