The Human Skeleton is composed of 206 bones, which are divided into two main categories: the axial skeleton and the appendicular skeleton. The Axial Skeleton consists of the skull, spine, ribs, sternum, and the bones of the face. It forms the central axis of the body. The Appendicular Skeleton includes the upper limb bones (humerus, radius, ulna), the lower limb bones (femur, patella, tibia, fibula), pelvis, and shoulder girdle.
