I created a Do-It-Yourself game controller using two joysticks, an ADS1115 analog-to-digital converter, a PCF8574 digital I/O expander, and an ESP8266-01 microcontroller. The ESP8266-01 features a sketch that functions as a web server, transmitting and receiving I2C data through the REST API. To utilize this game controller, you can access all necessary software on MyRobotLab (www.myrobotlab.org). I developed a Python script executable in MyRobotLab to control two servos using an Arduino; it's available at https://github.com/MyRobotLab/pyrobotlab/blob/master/home/Mats/DiyJoystick.py.
