Box with lid and knob

Box with lid and knob

thingiverse

My wife requested that I design a box with a fitted lid and a handle of some sort, so I came up with the idea to create it resembling a drawer turned on its side, complete with a drawer-like knob. The lid features an inset ridge that fits snugly inside the box lip, accompanied by a chamfered screw hole to connect the knob from underneath. The holes are 0.3mm in diameter and can accommodate any small wood screws with chamfered heads of approximately this size. It's worth noting that there is 1mm (0.5mm on each side) of space between the lid ridge and the box inner-edge, allowing for some tolerance during printing and fitting. I could adjust this in the CAD project and add a perfect-fit lid model if anyone is interested. Print Settings Printer: Original Prusa i3 Mk2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 15-20%
