Storage box with a hinged lid requires a metal rod for the pin. Drill bits may be needed to open holes if required. Supports will be necessary for the hinge on the lid. I utilized some 1.5mm mains cable, and the earth wire worked perfectly by bending it over at the end as shown in the previous picture. Then, I pushed it in using a flat object, ensuring it was seated properly before cutting off the other end flush. The result is effective, and I recommend giving it a try!
