This is a utility box for holding 48 AA size batteries. Key features: 1. The batteries are conveniently spaced so they can be easily picked out of the tray. 2. The tray and the lid are identical models. When mated face to face they become a complete box. 3. The tray face includes tabs and sockets that align the two halves even when there are no batteries inside. 4. The latches are held in place at their hinges by a springy retaining tab, which is integral of the tray body. 5. The latches snap easily and positively to their open or closed position. 6. The latches are recessed into the box sides so there are no protrusions to the box outline when it is closed and locked. 7. When closed and locked, the box is strong and durable. Printing notes: The tray can be sliced with 15% infill. Don't skimp on the print resolution, it is necessary for accurately reproducing the detailed retaining tabs of the latches hinges. The latches should be printed standing on their side with a raft base. Set the print temperature a little hotter than normal to ensure good layer adhesion.
